We recently saw a post online from Keeping Hope Dog Rescue, the post was regarding a poor female dog that was found walking near a road in our local town in a terrible state and heavily neglected, she was very thin and clearly starving and very frightened, the charity named her Bambi.
Thank goodness Keeping Hope were on hand to collect her and take her back to the rescue centre where it was soon clear that she was also in labour. She was admitted to the vets and overnight and delivered the puppies via caesarean but sadly they didn’t survive.
We really wanted to be able to help, we made a donation towards the vet fees for Bambi and we received the most grateful thank you, we were invited to visit Bambi at Keeping Hope and it was amazing to see the positive transformation that she had made since being taken in only 11 days previously.
Bambi is a very special soul very loving considering the life that she has been through, we hope Bambi continues to get better and soon has the loving home she so very deserves.
